Psalm 146
I praise, You, my Lord!
I praise You, my Lord, O my soul!
I will praise You as long as I live;
I will sing praises to You, my God, while I have my being.
I will not put my trust in princes,
in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
When his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
on that very day his plans perish.
I am blessed for my help is the God of Jacob,
my hope is in the Lord, my God,
who made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that is in them,
You keep faith forever;
You execute justice for the oppressed,
You give food to the hungry.
Lord, You set the prisoners free;
You open the eyes of the blind.
My Lord lifts up those who are bowed down;
and You love the righteous.
You watch over the sojourners;
You upholds the widow and the fatherless,
but the way of the wicked You bring to ruin.
Lord, You will reign forever,
and be our God, O Zion, to all generations.
I praise the Lord!
Amen.
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12: 1-2
May I present myself to You, my God, to You alone. You teach me why and how I am to present myself to You and that is my desire, LORD. Amen.
